On 30 November-2 December 2023, the 8th International Federation of Obesity Metabolic Surgery Asia-Pacific (IFSO-APC) Meeting and the 10th Chinese Society of Obesity and Diabetes Surgery (CSMBS) Meeting were successfully held in Shenzhen, China. Nearly 1,000 experts in the fields of obesity metabolic surgery, basic and translational metabolic research, comprehensive health management, etc. from 35 countries gathered around the theme of "The Future of Obesity Metabolic Surgery in Asia-Pacific Region" to express their views and share their opinions on the frontiers of multidisciplinary development of obesity metabolism.

According to Prof. Wang Cunchuan, the current president of IFSO-APC, the director of CSMBS, and the leader of the Weight Loss Centre of the First Affiliated Hospital of Jinan University, the International Federation of Obesity and Metabolic Surgery (hereinafter referred to as IFSO) is the world's most influential international obesity and metabolic surgical academic organization. IFSO is consists of healthcare professionals engaged in the surgical treatment of obesity and metabolic diseases and healthcare professionals of related disciplines in 72 countries and regions. Tens of thousands of tests was done to obtain stable and efficient cleaning performance, as well as thousands of tests to verify that the optimal flow channel and sealing film structure. After a number of iterative optimization of the technical version of the product, and eventually developed this product.
