Inno-Life Journey | Bluesail Surgical and Prof. Dr. Diego's first collaborative course with UMICS Academy was successfully completed!

On the 13th of November 2023, Bluesail Surgical's first collaborative course at the UMICS Academy with Prof. Dr. Diego González Rivas, the world's preeminent expert in the field of Thoracic Surgery, came to a successful conclusion!

The course brought together elite physicians from Europe, Latin America, Africa, the Middle East and other countries for two days of learning and exchange. During the two-day course, the participants from different countries have deeply experienced an educational feast combining academics and hands-on experience.

UMICS has carefully designed the training program and content to provide a systematic learning opportunity for the trainees, and UMICS has prepared laboratory facilities for the training so that the trainees can carry out cadaveric hands-on in conjunction with the theoretical teaching.

Bluesail Surgical has also equipped this training with innovative medical devices developed by Bluesail Surgical. Through the vivid demonstration of real-time practical cases, the trainees not only broadened their knowledge of different surgical methods, but also strengthened their skills in actual operation, and the use of Astrolux® Powered Endocutter. Through this training we also enhanced the trainees' ability to cope with complex situations.

During the training, Prof Diego and Prof Javier Gallego demonstrated the Astrolux® Powered Endocutter.
